Hello!
I had eqonomize installed on Linux Mint 8 (Gnome) without any problem.
Now I upgraded to Linux Mint 9 (Gnome 2.30) and eqonomize do not behave.
I can't open the saved files *.eqz (which is xml). They don't even show up when I click open in eqonomize.
Also it shuts down unexpectedly.
I really liked the program but now I can't do anything.
Any ideas on what it could be?

[SOLUTION]Re: eqonomize stoped working
I manage to solve it in this way.
I found a web page with the bug reported and downloaded a new built package from that page
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/583646
then I went to the directory where the deb file was downloaded in my case
cd Downloads
then I wrote
After that I got a working eqonomize 0.6-4ubuntu2.
Do not update the package from package-manager or mintupdate-tool. You have the latest (0.6) but rebuilt.
I still could not open a .eqz file. I solved this quick and dirty by open a new file in eqonomize. Save as a name you want.
Then I opened my old file with all data in gedit. Copied all content and opened the new file, deleted the content and pasted all content from the old file and saved.
The next time eqonomize opens it automatic opens the last saved file and therefore you have all your data from the old file.
Probably you can just save the old file with the same name as the new overwriting it.
I still do not get why it cant open files.

Re: [SOLVED]eqonomize stoped working
What is it with KDE apps and Mint (or Gnome?)? I had very similar problem with Tellico, a KDE app for cataloging. Now it is useless. I think it was Mint 7 or 8 when it last worked. Now I'm on Mint 10, Gnome.
