[SOLVED] VLC Segmentation Fault

I've tried re-installing vlc but the problem persists

VLC media player 1.1.0 The Luggage (revision exported)
Segmentation fault

Running Mint 9 'Isadora' 32bit Main

Fixed by:

sudo apt-get remove --purge vlc-data

and then reinstall vlc with

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install vlc

works like a charm

I did all the steps but did not work for me

Any other suggestions?
