Program not in Applications dropdown list

Program not in Applications dropdown list

I installed an app PhotoPrint from a .deb. I can run it from a terminal but it doesn't appear in the applications dropdown list. It shows in Synaptic as installed. Is there a reason this happens?

Now what do you mean with applications dropdown list?
It should appear in mintMenu as it is a deb
You can add it manually to the menu - right click on the menu "button" in the panel > Edit Menu and then add it in the right category
