Opening ports for Transmission.(Solved)

Post by Capt Turk »

I've tried to use Transmission to download some files. I can't seem to get it to work. I've gone in the preferences menu and tested the port. It keeps saying that port 51413 is closed. How do I open the port to get it to work? As it is, it just sets there and does nothing.

You probably need to open the port in your router and (also in the router) make sure that packets arriving on that port will be forwarded to your Mint PC.
