Shared folders with Virtual Box and Vista
Hi, I am fairly new to Linux. I am running mint 8 and have Vista running in Vbox. I am battling to get the shared folders to show in vista. I have installed guest additions, and have created a shared folder from "devices" while running the guest. After rebooting the guest and eventually the whole computer, I am still not getting Vista to recognise the shared folder. I know that Vista is a problem with some of these things, but the documentation I have read indicates that it is possible, yet no luck so far! Any suggestions?

Re: Shared folders with Virtual Box and Vista
you need to run some code to mount the share. Make sure you use the full path names.
sudo mount -t vboxsf VistaFolder LinuxFolder
Let me know
sudo mount -t vboxsf VistaFolder LinuxFolder
Let me know
