Broken stuff after upgrade (StickyNotes & co)

Post by GroovingClockwork »

Hello,

After I last updated packages (88 or so of them, +-120Mb), with problems (see below), various things were messed up in my Isadora install:
  • All my Sticky Notes notes are gone :(
  • In my Main Menu, all 'favourites' icons are gone (they are still in the 'all applications' list though).
  • On my desktop, the icons for 'Computer', 'Home folder' and a mounted partition have reverted to their default icons (I use custom ones).
The last two are minor issues; still I'm wondering what went wrong here.

During the upgrade (1) my internet connection turned fickle, and (2) I got error messages that some software sources could not be reached. I'm afraid I don't have the details (unless there are automatic logs somewhere). After the connection got restored to normal, everything got downloaded and installed fine.

Anyone recognise the symptoms? Cheers.
