Mint 10 - 64
Clean DVD install (not dual boot) about 2 weeks ago
When browsing in Firefox my browser window will freeze in the middle, while top and/or bottom will continue to move with scroll wheel and the only remedy has been reboot. I have noticed the same issue within system items that have a slidebar (i.e Applications >All). This usually occurs after the system has been running for a while. It does not seem to be a problem with Chrome. I would also add that this system sees very limited use, has virtually NO added programs other than original package installations other than Chrome and, of course, I have the firewall enabled. I have disabled all Firefox add-ons other than Flagfox and WOT.
Prior to installing Mint, I tried Ubuntu 10.10 32 and Fedora, both via DVD and experienced similar issues.
Any thoughts would be appreciated because I really like the OS, but this is annoying.
Thanks

Re: Firefox scrolling issues
My Firefox just scrolls super slowly with updated 64 bit flash, Intel graphics working great and Sun Java plugin. Configured correctly, but feels like it's running updates in the background. I don't bother using it anymore unless Chromium won't load a site correctly. It's the same in Ubuntu and PCLinuxOS as well. And I have an Intel Core i3 with 4GB RAM that otherwise flies.
