I just installed Mint 9 Xfce successfully. It's taking a little time to get used to working with Xfce but that can be expected. I ran Mint 9 Gnome prior.
However, I have an "odd" situation with Firefox. The three icons at the top right of the title bar "?", "SIze", and "Exit" have disappeared. File, Edit, View, etc at the left are in place, the rest of it on my screen works well but the three at the top right really hinder me.
As far as I know, I didn't delete them voluntarily. They just disappeared!
Technically, if it is needed, my system is a 6+ year old "refurbished" Gateway laptop with a large sticker saying it's a "64-bit Powerhouse". I have 1 Gb RAM. All other programs in Mint run very well.
How can I get the icons to reappear?

I'm told it could be "GTK2" problem and that there is no problem with "non-GTK" solution.

Only on Firefox are they missing?
