Error while installing packet tracer 5.3 in linux mint 10

Good Night, the packet i want to install is the following:

PacketTracer52_i386_no_tutorials_installer-deb.bin

The inf. of my sistem is this:

Linux hensahi-HP-Compaq-nc6400-RQ537UC-ABA 2.6.35-22-generic #35-Ubuntu SMP Sat Oct 16 20:45:36 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Note: if you need some other inf. about my sistem let me know what you need and how can i get it.

When i try to installit via console, it gives me an error which is:

dpkg: error processing PacketTracer-5.2.i386.deb (--install):
package architecture (i386) does not match system (amd64)
Errors were encountered while processing:
PacketTracer-5.2.i386.deb

You have to run the command in the folder that contains what you want to run. The easiest way to do that in your case is to right click the folder that contains PacketTracer-5.2.i386.deb and select Open in Terminal then run the commands in that post.

Hi JasonLG, i have already done that.

Ok, here is what i have been doing untill now:

First of all, i opened the downloads folder in a terminal (where the packet is), after that i went into the folder and i dragged and dropped the packet into the terminal window, in this point the terminal shows me this:

'/root/Downloads/PacketTracer53_i386_no_tutorials_installer-deb.bin'
Self extracting archive...

Welcome to Cisco Packet Tracer 5.3 Installation
Read the following End User License Agreement "EULA" carefully. You must accept the terms of this EULA to install and use Cisco Packet Tracer 5.3.
Press the Enter key to read the EULA.

Then a press enter and it shows me:

Cisco Packet Tracer
Software License Agreement
...etc. The agreement ends asking me if i accept or not the terms, so i type YES.

Then it shows me what u already know:

You have accepted the terms to the EULA. Cisco Packet Tracer will now be installed.
Attempting to install package now
dpkg: error processing PacketTracer-5.3.i386.deb (--install):
package architecture (i386) does not match system (amd64)
Errors were encountered while processing:
PacketTracer-5.3.i386.deb


where i do:

dpkg -i --force-architecture PacketTracer-5.3.i386.deb


And finally it shows:

dpkg: error processing PacketTracer-5.3.i386.deb (--install):
cannot access archive: No such file or directory
Errors were encountered while processing:
PacketTracer-5.3.i386.deb


All this in the same folder where the packet is.
