Highly unstable Pokerstars

Post by matthias1981 »

Hi!

I'm running LM10 64-bit with wine 1.2.2-0ubuntu2-maverick2 and PokerStars client version 4.386.

When running all desktop effects the client greys out if I use some other application.
I'm now trying to see if the stability improves by running just the normal desktop effects.

Has anybody else experienced similiar issues?

Cheers,
Matthias

I use pokerstars also, and have had no stability problems. The only effects that are active for me are cairo dock and emerald. I haven't had any problems with any versions of Mint or Debian. And btw I have ATI HD4200 graphics and use only the open-source radeon driver.

I've read on forums and people have mentioned unchecking the "popup table whenever user action is required" under Options->Advanced Multi-Table Options as a temporary fix.

I'm going to try that to see if it has any effect.
