I installed wicd to replace gnome network manager 'cause the latter can't connect to eduroam at my university without dropping connection every 10 minutes. When I was running Ubuntu, wicd solved this problem perfectly, however I just installed it in Mint 10 and it freezes and greys out every time I try to connect to my home network.
I'm not sure what information I should provide to help the diagnosis but it's an Acer 5742 i5 laptop running Mint 10 64bit Gnome, my internet connection is secured with WPA.
Any ideas?
