Hello!
I'm new to this forum and I wanted to ask whether it is possible to back up my current system into an ISO file.
A friend wants a 1:1 copy of the Linux Mint "Julia" I have. With all my configuration and subsequently installed programs. Is there a way to save my system so he can install it?
Sorry, my english is very bad
Thank you!

Re: make an .ISO file out of my current System?
You can use either Remastersys
http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/
or Clonezilla
http://clonezilla.org/
Either will make a bootable .iso file from your OS. Remastersys is not as capable of handling large files (an .iso file .4GB will cause it to self destruct) but it is the more intuitive and easy to use of the two.
