Virtualbox has been hanging after I give it the options for the new virtual hard drive and the status bar comes up. It just sits on 0%, and when I go to cancel it, nothing happens.
I'm on Mint 10 Gnome, and I've tried the version in the repos as well as the most recent from the virtualbox website.
I used vbox successfully in LMDE 32bit a few weeks earlier.

are you setting up a dynamic or static virtual disk?
when I tried to setup my VM with Vista (So my wife could use the computer), I started with a static disk, and it did the same thing. I trued again with a dynamic virtual disk, It proceeded along nicely.
