mintUpdate

Postby red-e-made on Tue Nov 27, 2007 12:52 pm

As I mentioned in an unrelated thread, I found that a couple Level 3 updates were probably responsible for killing my sound. Every time mintUpdate runs, I see them there. Is there any way I can "erase" these four specific updates from the list, since I have no intention of ever installing them anyway?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I think this is in the todo list
You can untick them of course but not lock or hide them

you maybe able to use synaptic to locate them and "hold" them at their current version.
this may translate into them not showing up in mintUpdate but I have not tested this.
so give it a go and tell us the result.
you could use aptitude from the CLI too.
