I installed Ubuntu on my gf's computer, but she has no internet access.
Can I use Mint installation CD to install Compiz, multimedia codecs and etc? If so, how?

You can use a computer with Mint to put them on a USB pendrive (with the apt download command introduced in Mint 11), but you may run into dependencies that aren't installed on Ubuntu.
