Mint search enhancer kills greasemonkey/googlemonkeyr

Post by Ctulhu »

Hi

I am wondering how one can get the combination of greasemonkey and googlemonkeyr to work. It's really great to have googlemonkeyr autoload new results and display 4 columns of results (and this worked the last few years on Ubuntu, Windows), but Mint's Firefox doesn't let that work from the search/locationbar - the only way this works is when one goes to www.google.com directly and then searches, which kinda defeats the purpose of having a search/locationbar and is super-annoying (esp. from a distro that aims at ease of use). Disabling Mint's search enhancer doesn't do it - any hints?

Thx,
C

This really isn't a Mint problem rather a Third Party Software Issue.

You might need to modify your userscripts to get what you want. http://www.firefoxfacts.com/2010/10/26/ ... lemonkeyr/
