Install any sofware under linux mint
Hello I run Linux Mint recently to tell the truth it's like left the earth for March everything is a little different for me! I want to know how to install tar.bz2 files if I mistaken! I've downloaded firefox.tar.bz2 but I have no idea how to install this kind of files help please thanks! and sorry for my bad english

Hi, I suggest you start by reading the user manual: http://www.linuxmint.com/documentation.php
Firefox comes installed by default, and most other software you need you can install from the Software Manager (in the Menu). The user manual has a good part about installing software.
If the 11 version user manual is not available in your language, I would suggest you struggle with the English version instead of reading an outdated version in your native language.
