The panel encountered a problem while loading oafiid:GNOME_mintMenu

I get this message every time I log on. It is VERY annoying and I can see that a lot of people experience the same problem. I tried completely removing MintMenu and then reinstalling it again in Synaptic but that didn't help. Someone suggested that maybe the python-gnome2-desktop could be missing but I checked and It's installed.
My Linux Mint is still very fresh, I installed it just a few days ago. The only changes I made were altering the appearence of the windows in Preferences.

Please help!! Thanks

Please logout, and click your name. Then at the bottom, click Gnome, and select Gnome Safe Mode. Then login.
Logout again and click Safe Mode, and put it back to Gnome.
