I have a "made with macromedia" windows exe program that I have saved since my window days and it has run on every version of wine I have tried, including Mint 11, until now. When I run it in Mint 11 LXDE, I get an error message "This application requires the Shockwave Palyer, which is not installed, Click OK to download Shockwave from Macromedia's Web Site".
I tried installing Shockwave in wine, but it made no difference.
What could be the difference between my Mint 11 standard edition wine install and my Mint 11 LXDE wine install with regard to running this program?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Garvan
PS. I will be away from my computer for 48 hours.
