G'day @jsg0363. Welcome to Linux Mint and its forum.
I don't use Ubuntu One myself so I'm probably not the best perdon to be advising you, but I found this YouTube installation tutorial while searching your problem and notice that Ubuntu One requires a couple of dependencies to be installed. Which leads me to ask, did you also install these dependencies when you installed Ubuntu One?
If you have, then I'm afraid you'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable than I to come along to help you (it might help them to help you if you also mention which version of Mint you are running).

Glad you got it sorted out.
If your problem is solved it'd be appreciated if you 'Edit' your first post and add [SOLVED] at the end of the Subject Header. This helps other user who might have the same problem to find solutions more quickly
