mintinstall

Running_Man wrote:Did a bit of digging on this one because I had this issue.
What I found on my install by tracking back through the Python code for mintinstall was a corrupt reviews.list file in /home/user/.linuxmint/mintinstall
I'm afraid just re-installing mintinstall in Synaptic Package Manager doesn't remove and recreate this file.
If you manually go in and delete reviews.list and start mintinstall the file gets re-created and things work fine again - well it did for me anyway![]()
Hope this helps someone who's wrestling with this one like I was...
