Hi,
I have linux mint 12 installed on my HP 110-3000 netbook. When I try to access any document or file type, which is not recognised by the system, it normally pops up a window with Archive Manager. Even when I right click on the document, the first option is Archive manager. How do I change it to my desired default type?

Have you tried to right click the file > Properties > Open With?
