problems with sound converter package?? SOLVED!

Hi all,

I recently upgraded to mint 14, and I have noticed since this upgrade that I can no longer use sound converter, previously it worked fantastically, nice simple and quick.
Now though, when I try to convert wav files to mp3 I get the same message every time; ¨GStreamer error: could not open resource for writing.¨
I have installed the lame package from the repositories, to no avail...
the thing is I really need these files in mp3 format for my job....
Any advice at all very gratefully received!!


wasnt previously aware of soundKonverter in the repositories, but hey, downloaded, installed works a treat, nuff said.
