Cartoon Network - Painful Win32 Codecs

Post by bgryderclock »

What a sweet concept! Linux with useful codecs :)

Has anyone tried to view the cartoon network adult swim premiers?
It is a site toughest with painful Win32 codecs. i can't even run it in Wine.

Can Mint Linux view these video files?

No it doesn't work. This site requires either shockwave or windows media player.. for which there are no Linux plugins.

Hi Aero,

It looks like it does alright. I'll have a look at this and try to improve the selection of plugins for the next release.

Everything I find and view on the site requires Flash and it runs nice on my Gateway MT6705. Where are there videos that require other plugins?

Viewing adultswim.com

I didn't get to watch everything, but I had no trouble viewing what I did get to see. I'm still in the process of putting Celena in one of my desktops (this one) after getting it going in my Toshiba laptop.
