Acer Inspire One 722 - Microphone doesn't work (mint 13)

Hi,

I recently installed Linux mint maya cinnamon on my Acer Inspire One 722. More info on the specs here: http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/netbo ... 2sp2.shtml

While both the webcam and audio output work fine, the microphone does not work. I looked it up under audio settings and it simply does not register any voice/sound.

Do I need to install additional drivers or is it simply incompatible with this Linux version? Any suggestions?
