DirecTV Everywhere Plugin

Hey guys I've resorted to the forums about this (I just e-mailed Directv about this five minutes ago)....

My friend got rid of her Macbook (thank God!) and I put LM13 Cinnamon on her new Windows 7 based laptop (screw Windows). Everything is perfect as usual, but I was curious about the DirecTV Everywhere plugin...it doesn't support Linux...however is there an alternative plugin, or is someone playing with the source to make it work? I'm paying for DirecTV and she doesn't have TV where she lives and cannot afford it right now so I figured this is perfect..but the plugin is screwing me here. Heck Netflix won't work because of the plugin needed. Any ideas? I e-mailed DirecTV telling them to fix this because I am a paying customer and I know quite a few people already on their case in the forums on their site.
