[SOLVED]Youtube videos Linux Mint 13 MATE update

Post by terghalin »

Hi there!

After updating Linux Mint 13 MATE i cant watch Youtube videos - videos just not starting (although adobe-flash IS working - i can even play games :) ). Same with HMTL5 enabled - no video, just black scren with buttons...
After some time it says: "Error occured..."

Specs:

Using Chromium browser (18.0.1025.151) and Firefox (13.0.1)
AMD Radeon HD 67xx (fglrx driver installed and working)

Tested on this PC and 2 notebooks - same problem. :(

PS: Youtube wotks perfectly BEFORE update and on Live version of Mint 13.

If you haven't installed the Flash Aid add-on for Firefox from the Mozilla site, doing so may solve your problem. It will update the flash plugin, and works for Chrome/Chromium at the same time.
