AVI disk to VCD disk?

I have a number of cd's withe AVI's on them, how do I pull them off the cd's and change them into VCD's.
I know how to use AVIDEMUX 2, so that's not a problem. Just pulling them of the cd's onto the computer?

Open the CD-folder:
Ctrl +h
Ctrl + a
Ctrl + c

Create a new folder in your home folder, open it:
Ctrl + v
