How do I enable v sync in Flash videos?

Postby hotweiss on Sun Mar 30, 2008 12:02 am

How do I enable v sync in Flash videos? I have horrible horizontal lines when watching video every 20 or so pixels; making Youtube videos almost not watchable. You would think that the built-in Compiz plug-in would fix that... I had the same problem with Vista, but once you enabled Aero that problem was eliminated.

This is the method to get vsync all the time
In Section "Monitor" in xorg.conf add lines like this
modeline "1440x900@60" 106.47 1440 1520 1672 1904 900 901 904 932 -hsync +vsync
I've not found a solution specific for flash....

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
