Incomplete "frame" during convert (avconv)

Postby DC80 on Fri Sep 14, 2012 3:30 pm

Hi everyone,

I would like to have some music from a DVD to mp3 so i can listen to it, however, it seems like i can't get it done using various (programs) ways. At last i'm using the command line and avconv to convert the dvd to mp3. Also this does not work properly. This is what i tried already.

- Avidemux (gtk+): This works nicely but is for some reason interrupted, it closes without any error and gets nothing done (or a empty/0kb file)
- Handbrake: Does work but has something to do with ffmpeg which is deprecated???
- K9 copy: this is/was also ffmpeg related.
- Sound converter: also ffmpeg related.

When using the above programs, they close or do nothing. So i googled for a solution and found the ffmpeg commands. Nice, but is deprecated, instead use avconv. Yay, finally a converter that works... Hmm, not really... It is talking about incomplete frames???

Please can someone help me? It is a little confusing... :S. This is the command is execute:

Code: Select all
