My problem: When I boot, I hear a loud popping sound, just before the login screen apprears.
How did it start: My micro stopped working with Skype. I found out that PulseAudio might be causing this problem and configured it not to auto-start by boot. After restarting the system I had heard the popping sound for the first time. I changed the config to its initial state, but the annoying sound did not vanish.
What did I try: Change alsamixer and gstreamer properties, turn off audio power save.
Any help. please?
