I just took a look at it and seen some bad reviews but installed it anyway. I didn't look at any of the other reviews... which I ALLWAYS should, but I trust it works and doesn't cause my OS to be unstable.
Any other input would be greatly appreciated.

works a treat with YouTube, had mixed results with dl for other sources.

There are 3 small CLI progs: clive, youtube-dl and metacafe-dl.Apt-get them.

I have noticed the flash files are cached in /tmp directory with Flash* name. Once you let it load completely in browser, you can just copy the file from /tmp and rename to whatever you want. You can then play with totem movie player (Is this the simplicity of linux...! on windows seems its hard to find this location and probably keeps changing).
