soemone sent me a video file in the vp 7 format.
They are now away for a few months.
I cant play it on vlc or any of the main media players.
Anyone got an idea of what I should do.

I have now found mplayer which is in the repository plays vp7 files.
I hope this helps anyone who gets this format

gnome player works perfectly
