Several Miro problems

Gentle people,

I hope this is the correct forum for this question because I searched the forums for a few days and could not find an answer...
So I have installed Mint 14 (was using Ubuntu 12.10 up to now, but Unity...) and was looking at the available software where I stumbled into Miro.
I was able to play HD movies that did not run smoothly on my system using SMPlayer and VLC so I was pretty excited, until I tried to look at Youtube movies, which did not work because a flash player issue.And the weirdest part is that some YouTube movies work without a glitch! For the record, everything works perfectly from a browser (Chrome)

When using the APT for ubuntu link, I get the following error from my GDebi package Installer: The channel 'nadia-partner' is not known.
I decided to see if could find something at http://www.getmiro.com/download/for-ubuntu/ and found out that a newer version is available and proceeded to add the PPA (ppa:pcf/miro-releases) as a source.

After doing this, I get the following error in Update Manager:

W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pcf/miro-relea ... ce/Sources 404 Not Found
W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/pcf/miro-relea ... 6/Packages 404 Not Found
E:Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Checking this, I find that the url itś looking for does not exists and that Miro 504 is here:
http://ppa.launchpad.net/pcf/miro-relea ... in/m/miro/

What is going on? Is it because 14 (nadia) is relatively new? Is it something I have done wrong? Do the "Mint people" need to update certain files? Or is it the "Miro people"?
How can I get YouTube working within Miro and how can I upgrade Miro (in the hope that the YouTube issue is fixed consistently there).
Any help,pointers and tips are very welcome and much appreciated!

Bump.
So is no one using Miro within Mint? Or is Miro working for everyone without problems?
Anything that could help me find a solution would be appreciated.
Or is the solution too obvious?
In any case, hopefully I have better luck next year. If I find a solution I will post it here.

I am having the same error but I am not as knowledgable as you. All I know is I am trying to update flash in an attempt to get 4oD to work. Every other video on the net plays fine, including the adverts on 4oD just not the actual TV show I want to watch. I am using Mint 14 and firefox.

For flash or codec issues you should install ubuntu-restricted-extras. Actually that'd be one of the first things I'd get in any ubuntu or ubuntu based (eg. mint) installation. It includes a proper flash player, as well as the lame mp3 encoder, which is the only one I want to use, plus other codecs.

I'd recommend using synaptic or the software manager rather than apt-get from terminal. Sudo level apt-get isn't as good at making sure the package is right for your version of ubuntu or mint. For example, I tried using apt-get once to install xfce 4 in ubuntu 12.04. It wanted to install xfce 4.10, which is the wrong version for 12.04 despite what mint 12.04 based maya xfce uses (maybe that's why it didn't work properly ).

Actually I almost always use synaptic to install software. The mint software manager is just clunky. I hate it.
