Video Messed Up

Postby wallowinthemire on Thu May 15, 2008 10:39 pm

I recently installed pcsx2, following a guide I found online, and got the program to work, but of course found that it was incredibly slow and impossible to run (I thought as much, but wanted to give it a shot anyway). In any case, now I've got this problem where I can't play any video files--sound works perfectly fine, but the video shows up as just a screen of garbled sh**. I was wondering if anyone had any idea how to fix this? I tried just removing the packages I installed in order to get pcsx2 working, but that hasn't really worked at all.

I think you must opt for a complete removal as it probably is the config files that is the problem

Don't fix it if it ain't broken, don't break it if you can't fix it
