Fullscreen youtube videos in chrome browser lag.

hey i just got a new computer and installed linux mint onto it no problem but im having an issue watching youtube videos in the chrome browser in fullscreen. The problem im having is its lagging alot only in full screen mode and only in chrome is there anyway i can fix this i dont really like using firefox and i use youtube alot to do my online classes.

I have a old laptop that it has a single core cpu. I use it mainly sitting on the couch to read stuff. So tinkered with this a bit.

In chrome, they use their own flash called pepperflash. Sometimes if you disable it and use the firefox flash from adobe, it runs better. Chromium, does not have pepperflash, by default it uses the same flash as firefox.

You can see what's running by typing chrome://plugins/ in the address bar of chrome.
