No sound on speakers after unplugging headphones

I've got a problem with Mint 14 on Dell XPS L502x model. Sound seems to work ok as far as I'm not using my headphones. I can use my headphones but I cannot goes back to speakers . I checkout an alsamixer and it looks correct. Any suggestions? Can it be pulseaudio related (I ask cause I haven't any experience with it)?
