It seems I am the only one in the world of Mint who dislikes the independent volume controls for speakers and headphones. The ideal solution would be to have the ability to allow users to change this depending on their preference.... in the meantime...:
How do I disable independent volume control for headphones so that the volume level does not change when switching between speakers and headphones?
This is how I've adapted... this is how I control my computer's sound. I prefer to use one device to control things on my computer.. I cannot, for the life of me, get used to a dual-volume control setup. Especially when I will switch back and forth frequently.. some things need to be quiet and while switching from headphones to speakers the sound suddenly bursts into obnoxious insanity..
I just want to disable it.. or tether it.. whichever way fixes this to fit my ergonomic needs.
