problem: no sound after suspension

i'm a newbie of linux's world and i've need your help.
my distro is linux mint 14/Nadia, "simply" after the computer has gone into suspension the audio stops working.
can you help me please??

So, I ran alsamixer from terminal and saw that Auto-Mute Mode was Enabled

I Disabled it and my sound came back right away
