Can some-else using mint 14 64bit cinnamon edition try out Banshee with the stream recorder plugin and see if they can repeat this error . I've installed and re-installed and the same happens .
The info provided about this plug-in in the software manager window says

So this must be a bug !!! . But no one on the banshee websites seems remotely interested ?.Just another forum where there are many threads started asking questions with no reply' s .
