iTunes mp3 import with ratings, play count, last played?

Postby Nomin on Mon Jan 13, 2014 8:26 am

Is there a program or utility that can easily import at least iTunes ratings to a Linux mp3 player, preferably also play count and last played data?

I've spent hours looking at Banshee, Rhythmbox, Clementine, Amarok and Songbird, but none of the iTunes import guides work - they're either outdated, meant for other platforms, or too complicated for a newb like me to get working :P

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

If you already have 'wine' installed - or even if you don't - check out "foobar2000"

I don't have WINE, and the solutions for importing iTunes data to foobar look just as complicated and error-prone as I've seen for Linux players.
