No "Accessibility" tab in Login Window?

Postby Robynsveil on Wed Jan 22, 2014 4:23 pm

Background: I'm running Mint 13 Cinnamon 64 bit on my HP Pavillion laptop. I want to turn off the start-up sound when I turn on the PC in the morning. I used to go to:

Menu > Administration > Login Window > under the "Accessibility" tab, there would be the sound settings. Don't know when it happened or why, but that "Accessibility" tab is now missing: there's only "Theme", "Autologon" and "Options" tabs. Any ideas?

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

Found it - they've moved the cheese. To turn off or set sounds now, there's a "Sound" icon in your Settings dialogue. This has a "Sound Effects" tab, where you can toggle sound effects for events on and off. :D
