I have an Icelandic (don't ask) movie with the subtitles as a separate .srt file. How do I add them to the movie? Normally I use DeVeDe to create an .iso and Brasero to burn to disc. Do I need some other application to add the subs?

DeVeDe will do it - its one option when you add the file. I am pretty sure that it will be OK with .srt files.

Thanks. You're right and I stumbled across it eventually. You have to select the option at the correct stage otherwise it's invisible. I panicked when they didn't appear on tv when I played the finished disc but then I finally remembered to switch them on via my dvd recorder.
Works perfectly.
