default sound in mint 17... My original post was removed as I said that I'm reverting back to mint 16. Hey just wanted to let you know I got it fixed ( I got it working again. I followed the instructions on this site. " http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=70675&f=42 " But after the reboot the default sounds started to work again. So I didn't need to do the install of alsa. ) It was suggested to me on the Linux Mint Group on Facebook. All I needed was to be pointed in the right direction. Obviously you get more help on Facebook then on the site of the people that put out the destro. And if they don't like what you post the delete it. I really like Mint but if this how I'm going to get treated I'll use something else.
