GNUmp3D help I know its ancient but

Postby deadline on Sat Jul 12, 2014 12:23 pm

It's a really nice program. Anyways I had it running just fine on Mint 13, I upgraded to Mint 17 recently and when I went to reinstall gnump3d I get the following error when I enter the command gnump3d &

Can't use an undefined value as a HASH reference at /usr/share/perl5/gnump3d/config.pm line 99.

When I got to that line in the file it reads as follows: my %HASH= %$hash;

The entire piece of code looks like this:

sub getConfig
{
my ( $key, $default ) = ( @_ );
my $value = undef;

my %HASH= %$hash;

if ( !defined( $value ) )
{
if( defined( $HASH{ $key } ) )
{
$value = $HASH{ $key };
}
else
{
return( $default );
}
}
return( $value );
}

If someone with some perl know;ledge could help it would be really appreciated as I love this program and would like to keep using it. Thanks in advance Mint folks!
