How can I burn a DVD that plays in a DVD player in mint?

How can I burn a DVD that plays in a DVD player with linux mint 17 from a standard memory card that I put in my computer using a usb card reader? Thanks for your help! :)

You are going to need to install DVD authoring software.

In order to be able to be played in a DVD player, a DVD must usually be finalized after being burned.
