In Gnome... Mandriva, SuSe and Fedora following their codecs installations I have been unable to play this video, which is essentially a home video after a commercial start.
In each case the video has played after downloading Kaffeine. In Mandriva and SuSe the KDE version play it (Kaffeine again) without issue.
This distro, Mint Gnome x86_64, won't play it either which is disappointing since I thought codecs were pre-installed.
I'd like to get this going without installing a KDE app into Gnome.
Any ideas?
Edit: I have Mint KDE CE installed and it plays without issue.
Edit: Kaffeine does play it! Xine engine.
