Does anyone know any good free software that lets me sync my ipod nano to linux mint? I'm hopeing something pretty close to what itunes is.

I haven't used it myself... but I've heard rave reviews about amaroK from Linux Mint's own Clem.

I'm a big fan of Amarok, Banshee also is a nice program for managing your iPod.

Aloha,
I use Amarok extensively with my iPod mini with no issues. I have everything in .mp3 format and it lets me do playlists and add or remove songs.
