Sound slow problem solved

every time I wach video or listen to music sound does not looks well its is very slow for example when someone say hey (in the video) you will listen
hhhh eeee yyyy

any solutin to this sound problem?

You have to tell us more facts.
The minimum is exactly which Mint you have - which version and which edition (main or any of the CEs)
We also need to know a bit about all your hardware.
Run " lspci " in a terminal and post here (To copy from a terminal right click)
Some wifi and possibly built in sound can be connected to USB even if they are internal - if you suspect you have one of these run " lsusb " in a terminal.
Also which applications are affected

I have exactly the same problem so will be following this thread with some interest. Running Mint-6 "Main" on Toshiba laptop.

Now sorted - at least in my case. The problem was quite clearly the need for the right defaults to be selected coupled with my blind reliance on the sound set up "test" button[s] which in this install are possibly broken and in any case are quite useless.

I too am having exact problem. What did you do to fix it? I tried all the combinations in the sound preferences setup and all the test tones produce similar results...those being a "stuttering" tone intead of a steady tone.

I restarted my machine and the problem was gone
so, try to do that for your machines may be something change
