realplayer keeps crashing.
I am running mint6 fully updated and have tried the medibuntu realplayer, but it will not play anything but just crashes as soon as it starts. I have replaced it with an older version I had in my downloads folder which does work extremely well, but just wonder if other users have found the same problem with the medibuntu version available in the repos.

I keep away from Realplayer ever since it was disclosed that the Windows version was full of spyware planted there by Real Audio
I have not seen any reports for a long time (hardly at all) about Real player
Anyway it's fine that it works
